Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter on WPDE-TV located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later, she was a anchor of the morning news and as a crime reporter at WCBD-TV. Her reporting of the ineffective response of the police towards DUI cases in Charleston led to an investigation being conducted by the State Law Enforcement Division, which led to a change in direction from the state authorities on DUI cases. In the year 2000, Associated Press awarded Ms. O'Dell the Best Report of the year Award for the entire South Carolina media. O'Dell has worked working in Charleston as a reporter and co-anchor for the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station before moving to Access Hollywood where she is now a correspondent and co-anchor during weekends.
